If you’d like to start playing Mini Metro now, while it’s still in development, you can buy it now while it’s in Early Access. You’ll receive the beta through Steam and, if you purchase through Humble, DRM-free for Windows, Mac, and Ubuntu through the Humble Library, and also on Android once the game is out of beta.
